Feels kinda funny calling it a winter sunset, but ya’ know – I guess that is what it really is. Fall has come and gone, while the nice temperatures do the damn, cold, snow, freezing and then back to a normal tolerable temperature!
We finally got the kids fireplace going, well sort of – it is not 100% but it is safe.
They did not put the proper chimney rated pipe on the outside to meet code so we are running a make shift operation for now.
The whole project has been a pain in the ass, but it will save on heating cost when it is finally finished.
At our house we have been going through wood like there is no tomorrow. Heats up the house real quick and real cheap, but I need to get busy and cut/split more.
I can already see the dent in our pile for sure!
