A new addition in the garage today, installed by United Power. A level 2 ChargePoint Charger – ‘a smart charger’ that only charges when the rate is at it’s lowest.
Off Peak Hours: 10:00 PM – 2:00 PM $0.0525 kw/h
Peak Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM $0.1540 kw/h
About 1/3 of the cost of peak hours, and even more savings for us – right on!
Last night it was $0.55 to charge for 4 hours to 80%… Hmmm, that was for a day, or maybe even two days of driving.
I do not remember the last time we charged it so I will have to do some analysis moving forward!
More savings to come.
