It was very cool to watch all the Elk pass through next to the campground last night, they were super close to us and bugling as they made their way up the moutian.
Everyone at the campground walked over to the west side and watched them, there was a big heard – it had one leader and one at the tail making suer all of them moved as a group to wherever they were heading.
Pretty cool, funny how ‘nature’ works.
Not too often you get to see that, well at least for us ‘flat-landers’ – I bet the mountain people up here see them every day!
We all kept our distances except for a car that decided to drive right out the field with them – I certainly would not recommend that!
