She is hooked up, initial test done, a short cruise around town and down the highway a bit – all good! First time hooking it up in front of the house, pulled the Jeep up behind it, threw it in park and shut it off.
The bards hooked up with ease and it took less than a minute and all the cables, hooks, wires and everything was hooked up. Wow! That was E A S Y ! ! !
I could not believe it.
Ran through the sequence in getting everything in neutral and got the transmission back in Park. (Yes, that is how you tow it, in park – so you do not accrue any miles on the odometer of the Jeep).
Flipped the key to ACC mode, and dropped the braking system in on the brake pedal, slid the seat all the way forward to hold it in place, and plugged it into the cigarette lighter and we’re off!
It was so fast, so simple, and quick. I was amazed. Towed it around town, tested everything, lights, brakes, corners – it all worked flawlessly!
The thing is too damn long to fit anywhere at my house when connected (Other than straight down the middle) but hey, people can drive aroudn me.
We will never be trapped with no vehicle while camping again! Wooo hooo!
