Arch Linux

Arch Linux

I have been having a problem with my recently built PC running Windows 11, you will hear the fans all spin up to high speed, for a few seconds then it will come up with a memory fault and reboot out of nowhere.

At first I thought I had a bad stick of RAM, took them out, re-arraigned them and re-seated them in different slots. No change.

I researched it a bit and it seem to be a windows error and not a hardware error. a brand new system, Intel i9, 64 gb RAM? I guess it is just too much for Windows to handle.

I said “F that” reformatted and install Arch Linux. What a breath of fresh air. It runs like a screaming beast and is as smooth as can be. What was I thinking running windows? Dumbass.

I have a virtual machine built on top of Arch that runs Windows 11 for those apps that are not “Linux Friendly” just in case.

Building Arch Linux is fun, you start with a clean slate and customize it to what you need, no unnecessary apps, no bloat, no Microsoft.
