I build me a big, badass, state-of-the-art, Intel i9 PC on July 11, 2025. I mean this thing had everything, fastest processor you could buy at the time, water cooled, loaded with 64 GB of RAM and everything.
I loaded it with a shiny new copy of Windows 11 because it was included, and well, it ran until today. Windows took a shit and I could barley get it to boot long enough to move all my documents and files off to the network.
See ya’ Microsoft, I am going back to Linux. I gave you a chance but windows is still shit. I should have known.
I reformatted, loaded Ubuntu 26.04 (Beta) and man, what a difference. What was I even thinking? The speed, the power, the reliability, ahhh – it’s all back.
The beauty and simplicity of Linux, unbeatable.
Ya know the biggest thing I hated about windows, fricking one-drive and everything being replicated here, there, everywhere. Is it on my computer? Is it in the cloud, did it somehow get migrated to the toilet for safe sotrage?
Dumb.
I’m out Microsoft, don’t thin I will be looking back either…
