As much as I want to delay, avoid, stay away from winter, it is coming! Sooner than you think too!
Usually our first snow is around Halloween, looks like it might be mid-month this year, and then who knows what the qwinter will bring.
From the sound of it, looks like we may have a ‘doozy’ of a winter.
That is OK, we have had them before and we will have them again, going into it more prepared than I have ever been too!
I have lots of wood cut, split and stacked – and lots more to do still! With a fire we can at least keep warm and cook on it if needed, and of course then there is the generator – we can power up, have water and survive a power outage too.
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best…
