Smoked pork ribs

Smoked pork ribs

Today I made some Smoked pork ribs on the Traeger, I finally got it fixed and it is working as it should have for the last year.

The internal temp sensor was bad (You can see it on the right side of the picture) so I called Traeger and got a new one shipped to me, installed it today and it works better than it every has for the last year.

The tech I talked to was able to pull my cooking history form the app and he could see every time it overheated, “Wow it has been doing this since day 1” I was like “yeah”.

So we are fixed! Wooo hoooo!

MY ribs were the 3,2,1 recipe from Traeger – 3 hours on the grill, 2 hours wrapped with apple juice and butter, and 1 hour back on the grill covered with BBQ sauce. (Sugar free BBQ sauce for us weight watchers…)

They turned out perfect, and man they were delicious. Yummy! I can seem me spending a lot more time ‘burning pellets” on the back patio now – I am excited.
