I have had this new garage door controller installed for well over a year, never really got it to work correctly, specifically the smart phone application and features.
I kinda gave up on it and forgot about it, today I started the app and it had an update. Mysteriously now everything works. Thanks Genie.
It is nice because I have the doors set to auto-close after 15 minutes so if you leave them open by mistake, they will automatically close. I like that feature!
Plus instead of needing a controller in your car, you can use your phone to open, close them, or eve just check their status.

Ha ha! I was going to replace the openers with something a little more modern but this controller did the trick for me. Plus, you can now use Alexa to say Open or Close the selected door and bamn! There you are!
