I have been working diligently to learn the world of embroidery and how to get it “just right” and I have to say it is one of the most complex, and trying things I have ever done.
I like to think I am an intelligent guy and can do just about anything, but man – this has been very trying! Wow!
I spent an hour on the phone with Ricoma, in a Facetime session as one of their techs walked me through some set up and adjustments to my machine to get it to center and run better.
Did you know there is a front and back side to a needle? Yeah, neither did I. I had three of my needles in backwards. A quick and easy fix, but damn – what a difference it made.
By the time we were done, I had learned a ton of ‘valuable information’, tips & tricks, and had my machine running like brand new.
Oh wait, it is brand new… Anyways. A great learning day!
Kind of reminds me of learning how to 3D print, my first prints every looked like “Spider Puke” – but look at them now! Practice makes perfect.
Day 8 — The power of “no”
Every “no” protects a “yes” that matters.
