Natalie and I loaded up and headed out to Pawnee Grasslands to do a little outdoor shooting, it was a blast!
Dave was supposed to come but he was a no-show, and Lisa decided to stay home and take it easy for a relaxing day with Stella so it ended up just being Nat and I.
It was a bit of a drive, but only like 45 minutes away, and we went to “Bakers Draw” which is a free open outdoor shooting area with three large covered areas with cement shooting benches. Awesome!!!
there were two cars there when we got there, one group on the far end shooting, and an old man on the right picking up lead or something on that range.
We took the middle range and had it all to ourselves for a while.
We shot for about an hour, had a great time. 9mm, 22lr, and of course the 223’s.
After a while like 12 cars had piled in and all the ranges were pretty darn full! Time to exit and have some lunch! Everyone was shooting their new ‘Christmas guns’ and I think it was safer to get the heck out of there!
