Xfinity sent me a new modem that is updated and ready form some higher speeds, it has a 10-Gigbit interface and 4 each, 2.5-Gigabit interfaces! DAMN SMOKIN’ FAST!
I talked to the tech rep that was helping me install it and he mentioned they now have 2-Gigbit internet in my neighborhood!

It was a little more expensive, but I live in my office, work from home and we are always streaming everything across the internet. Why not?
Spent a long time trying to get my speed above the 946 MBPS I have had since we moved here, and I just could not do it. I was pissed, they sent a technician out to my house and he was like “Well that is all you are going to see on your PC, you only have a gigabit interface.”
Duuuh, why the ^%$^#@! didn’t I think of that, dammit!
10-Gigbit interface on order from Amazon and will be here tomorrow, so I can see the full 2,378 MBPS my new modem is throwing down!
