It is not very often you see a Full-size diesel truck in our neighborhood, especially in our cul-de-sac. What is this guy doing? Is he lost? Why is he knocking on OUR door?
Seems he has a delivery for us, but what could it be? In that big of a truck?
He dropped a pallet with the lift gate in the middle of the road, and I hoped he was able to cart it up the curb, up our driveway and into the garage.
It was a 280lb pallet, I could not move that by myself. I was thinking I could unwrap it, break it apart and carry in smaller pieces on the 2-wheeler if needed.
Nope, his electric pallet jack ran right up the curb, up the driveway and into my garage. I inspected the packaging condition, signed the paperwork, and he was on his way.
Dammit, it is right in Lisa’s parking space – I have to at least get it unpacked and moved before she gets home.
