We have evaluated it, considered everything and being pretty disappointed with Dish Network we decided to cut the cable, but which one? Ha ha!
This is the mess inside my network box in the basement. (Good thing it is hidden by a cover.) Going to do some cleanup and rerouting here, bye bye cable!!!
(Really it was all in there somewhat neatly, I pulled it all out to see what I needed to do.)
Most of their content is broadcasted over the internet and low quality resolution. Disappointing and it seems the only thing we really watch are the local channels – mostly channel 2, then the football games.
Lisa had apps for all the shows she likes, and really cable is just a bill we really don’t need. Done, we cancelled it and will be sending back our hopers and joey’s.
I am going to build the same system we had at the farm, a killer antenna and broadcast it around the house on the network. That way you only need one run to the antenna, the rest is transmitted over TCP/IP.
We still have Netflix, hulu, paramount and about 800 apps we need to go through also and get rid of the ones we don’t need.
WoW (Words of Wisdom): Day 41 – Vision
The most powerful of all human sensory abilities, is vision.
The human body has about eleven million sensory receptors. Approximately ten million of those are dedicated to sight.
For this reason, a small change in what you see can lead to a big shift in what you do.
As a result, you can imagine how important it is to live and work in environments that are filled with productive cues and devoid of unproductive ones.
Look for the good, you will find good. Look for the bad, and your life will fall down a dark and lonely path.
