I picked up this jewel off of market place with a big box of VHS tapes. It was advertised as a VHS player only as the DVD player did not work.
I took it apart and found a gear was missing that went on the shaft of the motor. Turned it upside down and shook it all around, and a little white gear fell out on the floor. Put it back in place with some electronics tweezers and a drop of super glue so it does not come of again.
Now I have a working DVD player too.
You may ask what the hell is he doing with a VHS player?

WoW (Words of Wisdom): Day 39 – All talk, no action
Henry Ford, a man of action, said it best, “You can’t build a reputation on what you’re going to do.”
Most of us are all talk, but no action.
You can get on social media, tag yourself at the gym, talk about “it’s time for a change in my life”, talk about how “hard” you’ve been working on yourself, get a bunch of “likes” and “comments”, and THINK you’re actually doing something positive.
You’re actually tricking yourself into thinking you’re making some kind of progress!
Don’t tell the world what you are doing, do it first, they will see and follow.
