Swimming Pool down

Swimming Pool down

I decided to take down the swimming pool today, the water had fallen to about 78 degrees over the last couple days. Not too cold, but not at the 88 degrees where I really enjoyed it.

I was really the only one that used the pool that much. When Jake and Nat lived here – Jake was out there in it all the time with me. After they moved out, pretty much just me, and occasionally Rori.

She likes the trampoline and recently, really likes the swing set more than the pool! At any rate, there is tons of fun things to do in the back yard, this one – is going away until next spring!

I cleaned everything up, drained it all and stuffed it all back in the original box. Well as much as I could, there is a lot that just would not fit.

It is now all stacked safely in the shed until next year!! Turns out, it was a really good $139 investment for sure!!!

WoW (Words of Wisdom): Day 17 – Personal Mission Statement

Clarifying what your life is about through a mission statement can dramatically impact your life. You can’t afford not to do it.  Too much is at stake.

Sit down, and for fifteen minutes, keep your pen moving. Write down everything that comes to mind about what you’re best at (self-awareness), what you feel you need to do (conscience), and what you would do if you had no limits (imagination). The key is to continue writing until the time is up. When you’re done, do a little editing to form a rough draft of your mission statement.

Some are long, some are short. Some are songs, some are vision boards. It doesn’t matter. It’s whatever works for you. A personal mission statement represents the highest and best within you. If you’re in a family, gather and define what you’re about. If you’re in a position of influence at work, do what you can to write a mission statement or refine the one you already have. Then sit back and watch what it can do.
