Good night Ozzy

Thank you Ozzy

On 5 July 2025, Osbourne performed his final show at the Back to the Beginning concert event amid ongoing health issues, having announced earlier in the year that this would be his last live performance, though he intended to continue recording music.

He died seventeen days later.

Such a sad day in Rock and Roll history, the passing of Ozzy Osbourne. What a huge part of my life, starting with the Diary of a Madman album.

I bet I played that album a million times, both sides, every song, over and over and over again. Flyin’ high again, You can’t kill rock and roll, Tonight – all awesome songs that really sound best with the volume set on 10.

His final performance of ‘Mama I’m coming home’ was so heart wrenching, you could hear the age, tiredness, and effects of life in his voice.

He sounded tired, worn out and just done.

We loved you Ozzy, you inspired many generations to get out there and rock!

‘Maybe it’s not too late, to learn how to love and forget how to hate…’
