Well kind of, yes and no is my answer. Yes we are taking everything out of our house and storing it in the PODS container, are we moving, No.
We have to take everything off the floor in the main level of our house so they can complete the hardwood flooring, everything. So is it moving? Pretty much.
Lisa and I are working on emptying every drawer, nightstand, end table and everything else of contents. Packing it up in boxes and the flooring guys will move the furniture.
It just all has to be empty.
More fun than should be allowed, but hey – a good time to do some seasonal ‘summer’ cleaning and getting rid of stuff we don’t need.
The house is going to be off limits for the week or so while they do the install, toxic dust and fumes, unfit for human or animals.
Well OK, Lisa, Stella and I are going on vacation in the RV, Natalie, Jake, Sophie and Lilly are moving into their new house too.
Wagner hardwood will be working furiously to get it all done, sanded, matched to our current hardwood, varnished and turning into a beautiful all hardwood main floor.
And oh yeah, when we get home, it will be a ‘no shoes in the house’ home, be prepared! Leave your shoes at the door!
