We all loaded up the RV and headed down to Casa Bonita today for lunch. It was the first time this year we have pulled it out, started right up and was ready to go!
I had to stop and wash it, it was very dusty and dirty on the outside – the inside, perfect and ready to go! Filled er’ up with water and we were off!
Getting into the building at Casa Bonita was life going through the airport, you had to empty your pockets, take out all keys, met, etc and walk through a metal detector. They searched bags and everything, just to get in the door.
the line queue was the same with a little fresh paint, but cut short before you would grab a tray. Straight up to you seat and a waiter did the rest.
Food was OK, nothing more, nothing less. You had one hour to eat, then you could explore the place.
Everything looked nice, fresh and new, but the magic was gone. Not the same.
And man, did they want your money – everything was ridiculously expensive. $5 a play for the shooting gallery, fun but ahhh – too expensive.
It was a $500 lunch for 4 adults, two kids. Ouch. We will not be going back anytime soon…
