Man it has been hot out here, the ole AC is struggling to keep the house cool. We have one window unit in the Livingroom and one portable unit in the master bedroom, it can make ends meet but not as cool as I would like it in there.
The ‘central’ AC will cool it down, a bit and then either ice up or just quit blowing. It need s some work and probably replaced. Going to be looking into that real soon before next summer for sure!
Either way we are good until about 3 or 4 pm, then the sun pounding on the big windows and brick facing west just absorbs all the heat, and it really does not cool back down until about 8:30 PM when the sun goes down.
By bedtime it is usually OK to sleep, and going back down to where it needs to be – our bedroom is always the coolest.
Ahhhh, comfortable sleeping temperature. (Most of the time!)
