Whew! A huge fire broke out about 200 years west of our house, it is a massive pile of mulch and man is it stinky!
For a while it was no big deal until the wind kicked up and blew the smoke our way. When it was going straight up, no problem – but when it started blowing that stinky shit towards us to leave the house for a couple hours.
I figured it would burn all night so we grabbed stella and left, thinking about getting the motorhome and going to Boyd Lake for the night.
We re-evaluated and decided to go to Josh and Nik’s for a bit, have some dinner and then see what it looked like.
I checked the outside cameras at home and it had died down and cleared up quite a bit, so we decided to go home and tough it out!
It was better when we got home, but still stinky! We fired up a couple fans to keep the air moving and ‘fresh’ – good enough for the night!
