We met everyone in the lobby and hopped on a big fancy bus to go to our first day of training. There was quite a group of people, and a divers group at that.
We talked to a couple from Chicago that owned 9 Dunkin’ franchises, damn! We need to be there, but hey – we are looking at purchasing our first franchise, ya’ gotta’ start somewhere!
We have a lot to learn, a lot to evaluate and study as this will be a significant investment and will set up our retirement with some funding to ‘live happily after’.
Plus it is something we can hand down to the kids, giving them a business to feed, keep alive and profit from.
The facility at Unleashed Brands was pretty amazing, looked like a very fun place to work.
They fed us well and talked about everything we need to know to become a ‘franchisee’.
We were taking notes, meeting people, listening and learning!
