I got my new antenna up in the attic, right up to the tallest peak in the roof. Thank you Dave, for installing it for me. I needed a 10 foot stepladder to reach the attic access door on our 10 foot ceilings inside…
Dave came through and set it up for me!
I wanted to do it outside on a 20′ pole, but the HOA would have had a fit, and well, anyways – this is even higher.
We ran the cable down into the garage and hooked it up to my Kenwood radio, bamn! I am hooked up now!
Great reception and I can reach all of the NOCO repeaters and ham radio enthusiasts in the area.
My 50′ tower at the farm was king, it was high, unobstructed and could reach the world! Loved that thing, but this for an in-town rig is very impressive.
I can still reach Squaw mountain where all of the big Denver repeaters live, but now I have a bunch of new ones, Loveland, Ft Collins, Greeley and Wellington.
Reaching out to the north, I bet I can even hit a couple in Wyoming – I have that on my notes to try next!!!
KC0TAD if you ever want to reach out to me on the RF.
