Well I hate to say it but I am really Disappointed in Pit Boss, once again my smoker is down – still under it’s 5-year warranty but I cannot seem to get anyone to help me.
Their website refers me back to where I bought it, Lowes – while I haven’t been back there yet – they offer a 1 year in store warranty, after that I bet they will refer me to the manufacturer.
We will see… This is the 3rd time it has broke down, control board, auger and now the igniter.
Going to dig around a little more this week and see if I can talk to somebody and get the parts, if I can get them I can fix it – no harm no foul, but I should not have to PAY for the parts since it is in year 3 of a 5 year warranty.
I have a Treager in the RV, going to have to run out to storage and grab it for now. It works all the time, every time.
A new smoker for the back patio might be in call for my future.
