I have no idea why but we were out and about today, Christmas is over – let’s go shopping! Ha ha, and we had Scheel’s gift cards to spend – that is ALWAYS fun!
But Lisa mentioned we should go buy a new tree. We had went from 7 foot high ceilings at the farm to a full 10 foot high ceiling here at the house!
Great Idea! Our quest began!
We wanted the biggest baldest tree we could find, and we found it!
Hobby Lobby, 10 foot tall tree $599, 60% off – $239 out the door! Sold! We loaded it up and headed out with the last one the store had – awesome!
The guy at the store said take it home, unbox it and test the lights. If you bring it back next year because the lights don’t work, it will be out of warranty and they can’t replace it.
Good call, he said it happened to him and even as an employee they could not do anything for him.
What a pain in the neck, but we are good!
I look forward to setting this beast up next year – it is going to be sweet!!!
