We hit our first destination stop, Costa Maya pretty cool stuff, lots of things to look at and explore. Lisa has found her happy place on the ship!
Spent $380 and won $400 back…. Damn! (Me – I spent the other $20 and lost my A$$…) I am not much into gambling, especially if you lose.
We went ashore and took a tour out to the Maya Ruins… Got on a big bus and headed out. It was a long drive to the middle of the island and it was pretty cool but it consumed all of our off the boat time.
That kinda sucked because we had very little time to mess around on shore.
I think this was the most expensive and longest excursion we have on this cruise. Net few stops it will be something local and short and sweet.
Seeing some of the houses and the way everyone lives here, really opens your eyes and makes you appreciate what you have for sure!
And, I was very happy to hear the election results this morning! Woooo hooooo!
