We started our journey on the Mississippi river to get out of New Orleans to the ocean… It was a 100 mile journey. It was cool to see this huge ship moving – it is massive and the biggest thing on the water so far.
There is a lot of activity on the river, different ports, a lot of traffic up and down the river and plenty of things to look at.
We will reach the gulf of mexico at 12:05 PM tonight…
We all headed down to Cagney’s for a fancy dinner, a dress up dinner in a find restaurant on the ship.
It was awesome and so good! I had filet mignon and lobster, Art and Paula got a bottle of win, I had to try it… Blah. Happier with my Michelob Ultra! Ha ha!
Everyone had an awesome time and we got a professional photo of us at the table. Oh $29 here, $29 there, $29 everywhere…
I can see how ship people work already!!!
