I have been working with the DMV to get my plates back ‘active’ so I can use them on my truck. Just had to renew my truck tags and thought it would be a good time to switch, but noooo…
the lady told me I would have to go back to the web site, reapply for them and they would ship me a new set of plates. Sounds kind of wasteful and dumb, but hey I tried. Nope.
The places are still in perfect condition, and the DMV said no you cant have that plate because it is already out there in the system.
What the hell, so I am going back in on Friday to explain they just need to change the vehicle, add new tags and we are good.
Sheesh!
They expired on the Challenger in 2021, so I will probably have to pay some ‘fees’ or some BS, we will see… I have been getting back into radio, so why not display my call sign? Yeah!!!
