This little $25 radio joins in on a mesh network that is all around the world where you can talk to other ‘nodes’ and send messages where ever you want using only radio frequency, 900 Mhz. like the old home wireless phones.
Pretty cool, my first contact with it was a guy in Virginia, that is a pretty good haul all the way across the united states, damn!!!
Add a little 3D printed case to hold all of the components in and you are set!
I also upgraded the antenna with a wireless antenna from a Dell micro desktop, adds a little range to my broadcast.
