It’s Alive!!! And playing AC/DC ‘Back in black’ – wooo hooo! Everything works perfectly on it, the belt is fine, the needle and cartridge work like new and it plays albums beautifully!!!
Time to start building my Vintage Audio System again, picked up a few parts at garage sales today, could not find any albums, but we stopped in a record store and good god! they are proud of their stuff!!!
I wanted Dark Side of the moon, but it was $110. Good god!!
So I got Back in Black for $35 and we hit target and I got a Queen’s greatest hits album (2-Record set) for $34.99. Man, back in the day an album was $12, a good or popular one, maybe $19.. How times have changed!
I am definitely going to keep my eyes open at garage sales and anywhere I may be able to score some used albums for cheap!
The clean sound of a new album, man that brings back some memories, ahhh the good ole days!
