Ahhh, the brew is safe, warm and undisturbed in the basement!!! Bubbling away!
Another nice thing about the new house, the laundry sink! I used it to clean up all of my BIG pots and utensils, and then to cool the wart instead of using the bathtub! I LIKE IT!!!
Kept the mess out of the kitchen (Which Lisa hates when I make beer…) but this time I did not over-boil, spill or make any mess at all! Damn!
Now it can ferment quietly in the warm basement storage area!
Yeah carrying 6 gallons of beer down the stairs, not fun – but I made it! then it will have to come back up, be kegged and it will live in the garage fridge after that!
It should be ready to drink on the 16th of next month, a great fall beer just in time for Halloween. Perfect!
