I remember Natalie used to hate when I would say that, it meant end of summer and back to school… She used to get so made at me! Ha ha!
Having been a bale humper in my younger days (way way way younger days) you kinda pay attention to those things… Man that was the worse job ever, but hey – we were young kids and made a dollar of our own to spend like we wanted!
It is really starting to feel like we are turning the corner into fall. The temperatures are still up there, but we have had a few cooler days with some rain.
The locusts are out and singing loud. What is the saying? 6 weeks of summer left? Or something like that – guess I better get out the Old farmers almanac and look that up! Ha ha!
Not ready for summer to end myself, and still having fun with the garden – it is crazy!!! As I say every year – it is going to be bigger and better next year!
