Summer is here and The ‘vette is on!! She sits in the garage topless (I like that!) waiting for me to take her out and show her off. (No, the CAR, *NOT* Lisa…)
And I have been making it a point to take it out and run somewhere every day after work, even if it is a ride to Hayes market to grab something for dinner!
Last time we were out, she left me stranded. Kinda the way things are when you don’t feed them. I ran out of gas.
Clicking around on the digital dash as a sat there waiting for Lisa to rescue with a can of gas I found that it has a ‘miles till empty’ which very proudly displayed zero.
The gauge still showed one bar of fuel on the display, but it was WRONG! Damn old technology, it is fun but hey, keep that gas tank full!
We dumped in a gallon and I was on my way (Again) to the gas station! I still got to have my fun in the sun after sitting on the side of the road for an hour.
