We got woke up last night by some hail pounding on the house and windows, sheesh – it was loud and coming down hard. I got up to look at it and Lisa was already up looking out the window, it was coming down good!
It was small hail so probably not damaging to vehicles or homes, but hey – it was loud enough to wake us up!
Went outside this morning and saw this, a pile of hail on the rocks. Guess it is getting cold enough for this stuff to stay around for a minute!
Next thing you know it will be snow on the ground, and really – I think we are in for a “winter”. What does that mean? Well it has been a while since we have had a cold and snowy winter. I think this might be the one!
I am alright with getting snowed in, we have a generator if the power goes out and well, stay inside and stay warm – sounds like a perfect plan for me!
I might want to stock up on a little bit of gas though, those little lawnmower gas cans will not run the generator for too long!
