We were rollin’ down the highway heading home, just passed Kanarado and heading into Burlington Colorado when the RV kinda sputtered and lost power. I kept it going for a bit then had to pull over because we were dropping speed.
Pulled over, it would kinda start, sputter up to 500 RPM of so then die.
SHIT!!!
We have never had a single problem with this RV, nothing… Damn! It just turned over 40,000 miles on this trip, still pretty damn new!!!
After diagnosing everything, Lisa and I kinda felt it was a bad fuel pump. SHIT SHIT SHIT! She called a town truck, and they would be here shortly. He said in a few minutes, really it took them an hour to get there – but hey, that gave us time to pack up EVERYTHING in the RV, and put it in the Jeep so we can continue our journey home.
The repair shop said they can work on it Monday, so we dropped it off and continued home.
THANK GOD FOR THE JEEP being attached behind the RV! Bamn, we were back on our way – much smaller, lighter but sad without the RV.
209 miles to home, we will come back and pick ‘er up when she is fixed.
Day 254 – Let your passion fuel your perseverance.
