Man we are Getting baked here in Colorado for sure. The weather has been HOT, and DRY, and there is no relief in sight.
This is the dash of my truck as we are driving down the road at 45 MPH, not sitting still on a concrete driveway – this is the actual air temperature.
Ouch!
The lawn is suffering badly since we are on water restrictions and can only water two days a week – that hurts. I am doing my best to keep the front lawn and the appearance of our home looking good (And green) but it is tough.
The back yard, that is a whole different story, it is so large it would be a huge financial investment to water it as much as it really needs. I need a damn well or some ditch water is what I need!!!
It is doing OK, but I will be doing some work on it as it cools down this fall, trying to resod or reseed the parts that are damaged and need it.
Never a dull moment!!!
Day 215 – Keep showing up—consistency creates momentum.
