I got a new 20 watt solar panel for the fountain, I think this will be the final peice to make it all work. I just need to hook it in and make a the connections!
I go this one with a built in charge controller which is awesome, going to see how it works and it may be good for some future projects also.
Kinda like a trickle battery charger – charges when the sun is out and stops when the battery is full! Makes sense to me!
Playing with it now, charging up some old LiPo batteries I have in the garage – seems to work very well, charges them up, then goes to float mode.
Love it – perfect or this application and I am sure it will complete my fountain project, finally!!!
Day 205 – Small actions, repeated consistently, lead to extraordinary results.
