Well we hit our first 100 degree day on Monday, triple-digits, and man – it was hot! Hot hot hot!
I think that is all we have had is hot days, 90+ for the last 7 days I believe, and you could really tell the difference when it crossed the 100 degree line, wow!
I love the heat and all but man, this is brutal – Ouch!
I just ready were we might be in some deep hurt, Lake Powel is down to 23% full, the lowest it has ever been since 1957 (When it was built). It provides power for some 700,000 homes, and water to many many thousands of acres of farmland.
If we loose this, and power production stops, the water flow stops, the world as we know it will change for ever.
Scary stuff.
Going to get me a big blue barrel and start harvesting some rain water, or condensation water. This really does have me worried, power and water, kinda need them both, actually really, really need them both!
