OK I pulled the trigger and got the flat-tow package for the RV so we can hook the Jeep up behind it and two it as our ‘dinghy’ when we go camping! Yeah baby!
I looked and saw many used on Marketplace and eBay but man, I just did not know what to do to make it right. This has to be perfect and must be right. So I bought it brand new.
BlueOx Towbars – it was expensive, but it will be done right and guess what? It is made for my RV, and my year of Jeep specifically.
I talked to their support before I ordered and they guided me to exactly what I needed, part numbers, prices and more.
Ordered and paid for, gulp. It was not cheap but man, it is going to be nice. Tow bar, braking system for the Jeep, wiring, bumper mount kit on the Jeep… Lots of pieces.
Now I just have to get it all installed and configured.
Fun fun fun! We plan on doing a lot of camping this year, more than last year even!
