We made it, and man – what a long travel day. a 3.5 hour flight is the longest flight I have ever been one… (I know, what a baby) but good god, it was a long time to sit still.
We made it, the kids were incredible on the flight, did not make a peep. They were so good, we even had passengers after the flight comment on how good they were!
We had a 30 minute ride to the resort, and had to take two different vans because of all of our luggage, Rori, Lisa and I went first with all the bags, and Nik, Josh and Ryker were close behind.
We got there, got checked in and headed to our rooms. It is literally a 1/2 mile walk from the front to our rooms. By the time we got there and unloaded – we were sooper pooped out.
Josh and I headed out to find a cold beer by the pool while the girls got ready.
We swam, played int he water, ate dinner and headed back to the room with the day fully spent and all of us tired. Let’s see what tomorrow will bring!
