Ok I think I finally have it all dialed in – I can do hats now, and they are consistently coming out nice! I run all the off colors for practice, then I will end up wearing them around too – if you see me in a purple Cisco hat – say hi! Ha ha!
Hates are inexpensive and they sell really well – I am glad I have the procedure down and now will start working on more complex artwork and getting everything to move ‘across the seam’ in the front.
So far I have not broken any needles yet.
For hats, you really slow the machine down – 300 SPM, the slowest setting the machine can run at. That was part of my problem, trying to run hats at the same speed a flats – it just don’t work that way!
