I have been working on my new Mig welder I picked up at the pawn shop. Getting all the parts and pieces I need to make it complete again.
This is my initial test (No gas valve yet so just a hot weld) on some test metal. First time I have ran a bead in 20 years, and damn – it shows!!!
I got a killer welding mask that snaps from light to dark instantly, and it really makes seeing/welding much easier – ahhh, technology!
I really did not want to run it too long without the Argon gas, but hey – I am impressed with my test.
Soon I can get that Old Trans-am in the garage and start piecing it all back together. Henry is working on an old Camaro, we talk and man – makes me wan to t get a project car too.
I am going to do it all myself this time, start to finish. Be an uncle Danny, sheesh I wish I had half of his skills – he is GOOD!
