I got on a call with the company I purchased my battery from, I have had an issue a couple times where I would be driving it – One time at 63% and the other at 35% charge left, and it suddenly would drop all the way to 0% and start flashing red.
Both times I was able to make it home and get back int he garage before it totally died and left me stranded – but this shit aint right! So I called them and said I want a replacement battery.
They assured me it was just a configuration and synching issue within the battery itself. they told me to get connected with my phone via Bluetooth to the battery, stay connected, and they will fix it.
From China, over the internet, to my phone, over Bluetooth, to the battery, in my golf cart, in my garage.
Impressive, and they did – or so they say. I will run it some more and see what happens. It has a 10 year warranty so I kinda have a little bit of time! Ha ha!
