We all headed up to Georgetown yesterday to do some Christmas shopping and ride the train. Great day to do it, they were forecasted to get 10″ of snow up there today – damn!
Snow was going to start later in the afternoon and go overnight so ‘hopefully’ we could get in and out before to got too bad.
We had a great time, hit all the little shops and tried to stay warm. we were all dressed for the weather so it was not too bad really, then it started coming down pretty seriously!
We got on the train and had a great time going up the mountain, Santa clause was on board and joined us to talk to the kids. It was really magical and ‘felt like Christmas time…’
We headed down the mountain and were all going to meet for dinner, but the kids fell sleep and we decided just to keep rolling home.
Lisa and I stopped for a quick dinner and then headed to the house. Stella has been home all day and I am sure she is wondering where the heck we are…
