I got the new golf cart “Hollowed Out” and holy shit, were those batteries HEAVY. WOW! 6 each, 8 volt batteries and I bet they weight 45 pounds each, damn!
This shing is going to be a rocket now. Much, much lighter, and more power too with a new 48v Lithium Ion battery!
I talked to a service guy at Mile High Golf carts, he said to mount the battery on the passengers side to balance out some of the weight of the driver. Good call!
the new battery only weighs 108 pounds, so I will mount it far right and the driver will add the opposite pounds on the left side.
Also, it will be good for drifting! Ha ha!
I am excited to get this thing running and it is going to be fun jetting around the neighborhood, and out to the new golf course! Oh yeah!
Lisa and I are going to take up golfing in the spring, look out!!!
