It is really starting to feel like fall around here, getting dark earlier, and COLD in the mornings. I heard on the news today that we hit 40 degrees last night.
That is 1 degree above the 30’s, yikes!
Only good thing about the 30’s and freezing is, the flies will all be gone! I think they know it too, because they have all moved INSIDE of our house again. Sheesh, I cannot keep up with them, they are everywhere.
Time to break out even more fly strips! I hate them because they are nasty looking and all the files are not a good decor for your house, but hey – they work!
A flyswatter works good to, they you have to wipe down the surface and clean the nasty little things up off the floor.
Stella is a good fly catcher too, she will chase them down when they bother her, catch them and spit them out on the floor after she crunches them.
